Hi

I have a HP G60-127NR Laptop . I am not sure how to find out if it is 32 bit or 54 bit.
I had Norton but expired. No Antivirus right now.

Thanks,
Shrani

Hi

I first downloaded the Microsoft security essentials and tried to install it.
It said "This is not a Win 32 application". I downloaded the updates for 32 bit and installed those but couldn't install the main application.

I then downloaded ' Malware bytes'. It asked me to restart the computer and when I did the computer core dumped . The first line said something like
IR!_NOT_LESSTHAN_OR_EQUALTO. I am not sure if that is the way it is written but those are the words.

This has happened to me when I tried to install other softwares like AVG last month and I gave up.

Hi,

I don't have any of the software that came with my laptop. How do I reinstall Vista or should I install some other OS. I have downloaded and installed other software for which I don't have any CD.

Thanks,
Shrani

Thanks,

That is your recovery drive (Your original operating system from "Day one"), you access it through F11 on boot-up & please select a destructive restore i.e. format "C" drive.
