i run vista home premium and keep getting this error i know its a ram issue i can only use 2gb but any more it crashes my computer and i dont have kb929777 update i tired to download and install and it says this update is not for me

Run for 8 passes then test each slot with a good stick for 8 passes.
That KB is only for certain configurations, you may, indeed, not need it. We shall see what happens as we progress.
Your computer does recognize the 2GB of ram.
Make sure that you have ample space on your hard drive
If you made any changes, recently, please restore to orignal state.
Run a full anti virus scan
Download and make a full updated scan with Malwarebytes.
