Dual Booting with Win 7

About a year ago I installed Win 7 (on its' own HD) as dual boot on my computer. At that time I could boot into Vista or Win 7, no problem. Since I installed all my new software on to Win 7, I stopped using Vista and it is listed as drive G. I have some older Income Tax programs loaded onto the Visa drive that I need to use to do back taxes but now it wont let me boot with VIsta. When I restart the computer I get the screen showing both hard drives but when I press CTRL + I only Win 7 is displayed as a choice. What do I need to do to be able to get back into Vista?

Boot to Win7
Create a repair disc (Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc)
Boot from the repair disk
Select the Command Prompt entry from the menu
Type these commands - press ENTER after each one

bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /rebuildbcd

That should recognize the Vista installation and allow you to boot to it. If not, post back here and we'll try other stuff.

Thanks for the help. Since Vista is on drive G: do I still run these commands in C: (Win7)?

Just open the command prompt and type them right there.
No specifying C: or G: (I think the disk will default to X: ).

THANK YOU, Thank You, thank you, oh master of Window's OS. Your wizardry has saved me countless hours doing back taxes manually. I the future I will buy them at Staples so I have a CD I can load onto another or new computer.
Now I remember why I stopped booting into Vista.... it will not shut down, I get a Vista Ultimate screen "Shutting Down" but it just keeps on running at that screen all night. I have to pull the plug to re-boot.
Thank you agin. :D
