    what burner are you using (hardware) what problem are you using to burn the cd?? Is that an external one??

    I have a HP Pavillion Elite M9040N desktop with a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GSA-H60L ATA device which is pre installed
    I have recorded with WMP before, but it now says to "connect burner and restart player".
    I also have Roxio to burn with, and I have done so. I would like to burn in the WMP program as it gave me more options
