| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Please Help: Vista Restart Problem Hello Andrew, and welcome to Vista Forums. See if using the start windows normally option will work for you. If not, then see if you can run a startup repair to see if it may be able to fix the problem for you. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Please Help: Vista Restart Problem No, it should go into the System Recovery Options screen shortly afte booting from the DVD. Did you make a 64-bit recovery disc and not a 32-bit one by mistake? In the worst case scenario, you may need to restore your computer back to the OEM factory default installation from the recovery partition. This will wipe everything out and reinstall the Vista back like it was the first time you got your laptop though. Last edited by Brink; 04-10-2009 at 10:18 PM.. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Please Help: Vista Restart Problem If you have created a set of OEM Recovery installation DVDs from your laptop, then you may be able to use them instead to restore Vista back to factory settings. If not, then what brand and model is your laptop, and I'll be happy to take a look and see what I can hopefully find at the manufacturer's website that may be able to help. |
