Newly created 30 minute DVD, made from Windows DVD Maker, won't play on my Toshiba DVD Player. To compound the problem, I intended to use this dvd to give a presentation in a few days, and I'll be using a different DVD Player. Why won't this disk run and what can I do to FIX THE PROBLEM!?

Made on PC (HP Pavilion Entertainment), burned on PC, attempting to play on Toshiba set top player. No go.
In cd/dvd burner software is usually an option to close the session, but its still writable. On such a disc it can only be read/played by the machine it was made on. This option is typically the default. Of course, that various by the software.
Also there is an option to close the session and the cd/dvd. Unless you close the cd/dvd, it will only be readable by the machine it was created/files saved on.
This is typically, but could be somewhere else in the program, in the 'details button' section of the burner software.
