Ack! Windows DVD Maker disk won't play on Toshiba player

I'm wondering, now, if it's just my DVD player. I'd guess this machine is...maybe...5 or 6 years old. Toshiba SD3950. Does it have something to do with the lasers in this player?

Yes. If it plays where it was made and not on a different Pc . PC1 and PC2 dvd players may just have gotten a little out of alaignment over time. You could make the presentation on PC1 and move if over the network to PC2 and burn it there.

hope this helps

Thanks, Ken. It's looking now like I may have to (a) purchase a new DVD player to run this thing on or (b) run it directly from my HP to the TV where it was meant to be presented. Not even sure I can attach this HP directly to a TV. So very frustrated!

You might try burning it on another computer. Might be a bad burner.

does the toshiba:
burn a dvd and try to play it. if it works you could always mount a virtual dvd drive and burn it on the toshiba.
