My Computer

Hello Soma, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You might see if restarting the computer may be able to clear it up. If not, then you doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this started may be able to fix it for you.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

My Computer

Soma,

It says that you had System Restore turned off, so that's why you do not have any to use to restore back to.

You might see if running a sfc /scannow command may be able to fix this for you. Are you using your native screen resolution? Sometimes if you are not, it may cause visual issues like this.

Why would u have system restore off are u using a SSD? only reason why u would have that off. I'm guessing its a program issue maybe part of ur drive has errors or is corrupted check ur drive.

Some,

I got one more for you to try. As a test, create a new administrator account to see if the menus display properly in it. If so, then you can copy all contents of your old account's C:\Users\(user-name) folders into the corresponding new account's C:\Users\(user-name) folders to copy over your shortcuts and user files. Afterwards, you can delete the old account from within the new account.

Hello guys...i am back....I tried with creating one admin test account... i can see all sub menus and context menus.
