pop -ups and add ons

im haveing a lil trouble with my addons and pop ups, im afraid i still have a dstorted view on the importance of the 2, what they do etc.etc.. i enabled my popup blocker, for a while and it was every 2 mins i had to click here and over there, im thinking i should custimz, but i wanted to ask u guys first. kinda the same with the addons, idk what i need, lol, and i got 1 more question, is my understanding correct, adobe flash player 10 activex, is diff from flash player 10? i read here 1 day we need them both, i couldnt find my regg flash player, so i downloaded a new 1, it installed and everything, i noticed an hour later it was gone again, idk what im doing wrong. thanks 4 any tips u can give me

o ok gotcha, thanks il try that with the activx and flash, 1 more thing rich, my brother and his family some how downloaded ie9, i cant seem to get it to uninstall, tryd the ccleaner, gave me error 2, couldnt find the file, went to programs and fturs, uninstalled, seem to have work, it deleted of programs and features, but not on the descktop or ccleaner, i click on it 2 c if it was still running and it was. tryn to download ie8 4 him, i cant do that with nine still on here can i?

First with Vista when you uninstall 9, IE8 should be reinstalled. Lets think for a minute. If that were not the case, how would you use the internet to get 8, if you had How To Uninstall Internet Explorer 9 | Reinstall Internet Explorer 9no browser.
Be sure to follow the directions for Vista.
So if that information is correct, the browser that you are using may be 8.
If you find that the method does not remove 9, just remove the update that was used to give you the browser and see if that works.

well u got me thinking so i went back and checked to make sure i didnt just think it was 9, but its still 9. he uses crome but wanted to use ie8 sence i told how well its been working for me, he has no idea how he got 9, hasntnt used ie, for along time, idk, im stumped, ima check out the link u left, thanks alot rich.
