unable to open ebay.com

Have problem opening ebay.com all day today. Tried with IE, Mozilla and Google Chrome but no luck with any of those browers. I have vista 32 bit system.

When I initially googled for help I was advised to enable cookies by going to:Tools->Internet Options->Privacy->Advanced .
when I got to "advanced" I checked "override automatic cookie handling" and checked accept on both "first party cookies" and "third party cookies".
and checked "always allow session cookies".

Didn't help at all. I'm not a tech person for sure, but can follow instructions well.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I do need to get to my ebay and completely frustrated.

Welcome
I am assuming that you mean that when you go to Ebay and enter your password, it does not work
Lets try a few things
First
Download temporary file cleaner
Temp File Cleaner - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com
This software will clean out all cookies, you should be ok.
There is an unwanted consequence; all cookies will be delted. You wil have to sign in again to saved webpages, saved IDs etc.
For this purpose, I prefer this product over ccleaner.
If that does not work
Try forgot your password, and try to change it. That should work.

I actually ran a quick scan using Advanced System Care along with the malware fighter it comes with, but that didn't solve the problem. A tech person had suggested using the Advanced System Care. What do you think. Should I go ahead and run a full scan with the Advanced System Care.

I also just down loaded the temp cleaner. I currently have been using CCleaner.

My Computer

Forget temp cleaner for now
Run the scans that I told you. I know they are efficeint. Dont know about the other.
Lets work together, so I understand everything that has been done.

Running a full scan with malwarebytes-antimalware.

By the way, could this be a problem with an "internet proxy server". I kinda vaguely remember a friend of mine having a problem where websites wouldn't open up....anyway I'll run the scan. Got to go to work in a few hours...

My Computer

Are you using a network with proxys?

It seems to me that if you are not being redirected by a virus or malware (and I do not think that you are) a good cookie cleaner like Temporary File Cleaner should work. I delayed a bit on that because if it is a virus, you can begin to get bigger problems and we must get rid of the virus. In addition, File Cleaner will force you to sign in again to web pages etc, for the first time, even though they have been saved in the past.

What I would like you to do is this
Make sure that your anti virus is updated. Make a full scan
Make sure that that the scan you did with malwarebytes was updated and was a full scan
If they were not, do it over
If they were try file cleaner.
