Generic Volume Driver Error
Hi!
Two days ago I update the BIOS of my PC. All ok, at startup Vista x64 Ultimate reinstalled USB components. After that, every USB Key or USB hard disk I connect doesn't work.
In Device Manager, there is a yellow triangle on "Generic Volume" and there is an info that tell me that file driver is absent or corrupted.
Does anyone know a solution?
Thanks

Have you tryid different USB slots??, all so if you connected the front USB cables to the motherboard you might have plugged it in the wrong way and can damage your USB sticks.

try resetting the bios back to default and see how that goes, other then that its most likely a windows driver problem.

Yes, but USB Wireless LAN is working and also USB Logitech Webcam is working.
I cannot assume it's a USB driver problem.

Then your memory stick is dead, they have a random lifetime you can never tell when the are going to stuff up.
