Error: Display driver has stopped working and has recovered successfully.

I'm using Gigabyte 9800GTX by Nvidia. I have the latest driver and I'm using Vista x64.

I get this error message while I play Counter Strike source, Crysis, watch images in Picasa or use Google earth. Sometimes it happens in Photoshop CS4.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks.

Uninstall and reinstall your drivers for your card.

Guru3D - Driver Sweeper (Setup) download from Guru3D.com

How are you GPU temps when this happens? You might be running a little too hot.

Yeah I second the uninstall your drivers. I personally use driver cleaner pro Driver Cleaner Professional download from Guru3D.com, but I've heard good about the other.

Run this while you game and select the sensors tab and make sure you check the continue refreshing this screen while gpuz is in the background.

I pretty sure its a driver problem though.

Do I need to Alt+Tab while in game so I can see the sensor result?

The problem occurs while I use google earth. The temp is 61 deg. I uninstalled the driver, used driver sweeper in safe mode, reinstalled the driver and it still happens. The screen blacks out for 1 second and then comes back with this error message in the system tray saying that the driver has stopped working and has recovered, and whatever program that I used (usually google earth) is not responding.

61 deg, should be alright. How old is this card?
