Anything at all? I'm about ready to put a bullet through this POS and this place was my last resort. It's rather difficult doing 30 credits of college work while working in safe mode. I'm sick of reinstalling drivers dozens of times, vacuuming out my computer, putting fans around it, and having completely inconsistent results.

Richard has already mentioned on how to post the BSOD. Read his post and follow his instructions.

I must apologize.
When you post the BSOD, if you have not already edited your first post, I do not have access to a computer than can read the dump, for 3 weeks. Post let me know if you have followed instructions and I will get another member to analyze your report.

I can tell you this BC 116, is usually graphics. Check your graphics driver. Go to device manager look for yellow warning markers, look for outdated graphics driver.

Thank you for a response. I have done as mentioned in the BSOD instructions post. I tried running that "stress test" and my computer didn't even last 1 full second before crashing. :-(
I have uninstalled and re-installed my graphics driver dozens of times with different results each time. I have done windows update, I have updated BIOS, I have done system restore, all with very mixed and inconsistant results. Last week I was able to use the machine at full resolution with no consequence. I shut it down for the night on Friday and when I started up again on Saturday morning it was back to red wavy lines. I uninstalled, re-installed, and restored to a previous working date to no avail. And come Sunday evening she wouldn't even startup in safe mode and the screen was covered in white boxes.

The only other "weird" thing happening is that there is no apparent CDI driver. I have searched far and wide on both the NVIDIA and DELL website, again, with no luck.

And on a completely unrelated note, now my wireless router is TU so I cannot do ANYTHING from home now. Ugh. One of those weeks I guess! :-)

Thanks again for a response! :-)

As I said I cannot read your dump report, again I apologize for the delay.
To make up for the delay that you have experienced due to my travel staus and not having access to a computer with minimump capabilites, I am going to refer your post to one of our best; you will be helped.

Hello,

I got Richard's message.

It appears you have a graphics-related issue. The problem is almost certainly caused by either your video card, or its drivers.

The easiest and cheapest suggestion is to try some newer drivers. Here are the latest ones for your card: NVIDIA DRIVERS 260.99 WHQL

Since Furmark didn't last long, I am guessing the card is physically bad. Could you locate a new card to test out? Perhaps borrow one from a friend, or rob one off an unused computer. You can also consider purchasing a new one from a PC components store, but check on their return policy to make sure you can return it, if it turns out not to be the problem.
