New Video Card

Hello everyone,

I just want to know what nVidia graphics card will work with my Intel mother board.

Product number is D946GZIS

I checked out my PSU, its Model # 400u-425PS
DC Output - 425W

I'm looking at possibly getting a cheap one from Futureshop that will play WoW without trouble and not hurting the pocket book.

Right now, I'm running a ATI Radeon HD 4550 that seems to run fine when browsing but after this recent episode of bluescreens, I'm wondering if the graphic card is starting to die off.

Either that or I'll end up buying a new desktop. These bluescreens are stressing me out!

Really depends on the error. WoW is really bad for BSoD, so youre first best to research the error, as a new card won't help.

Incase you still want a gpu, is your dell a slim or regular fat case?

Where abouts are you, as futureshops expensive... And there are some greart shops here in Ont.

I have already sent a BSOD post. I just wanted to check out other option for video cards. My card could be upgraded either way. It seems this bluescreen is only happening when I play a certain game. I'm thinking about going to nVidia since ATI software isn't exactly the best.

nVidia is good that's what's in mine, which games when you get blue screens, plus can you find a link between the game and in the event viewer, which might help a great deal. I will continue to look for you but please check the event viewer and see if we can get some idea from that...

Now here's the errors I get from the HoN game that I've been playing. Not sure if they are related to each other somehow. Maybe someone with more computer knowledge might know what's wrong.

Well, do any other games bsod while gaming on this video card? Test. Make sure it's on the lowest setting's. If everything passes then there's some type of error with the game.
