Need to bypass firewall on my side for remote connection...

Ok, Basically i need a way to connect to my home computer from school but the firewall is restricting incoming connections from RDC so i cant get any feedback. I have admin access (dont ask) and have disabled the local firewall but it still blocks the connection so the firewall on the server must be blocking it.

Is there software I could install like logmein which would let me do it but doesn't need a webpage to use (logmein.com) and doesn't get stopped by a firewall?

Thanks

Have you given both computers each others ip addresses so as to allow all access. See below:~

Kaspersky Blocks My Network

Hope this helps

I am using hamachi i am asking for an alternative. I cant get hamachi through the firewall.

Logmein has other software which allows remote control via their webpage.

Do you have Remote Desktop Enabled? Right Click on My Computer---Properties---Remote? Allow remote connections from computers running any version of remote desktop (less secure) "This basically means Non-vista computers"

have you tried setting up a DMZ just for your IP? place your computer outside the firewall and let windows control your firewall?
