    Temperatures

    Hello people,

I have been checking into cpu temps and voltages just to keep an eye on things when I noticed one of my TMPIN temperatures is high. This would be TMPIN1 at 127c. I took a screen shot of Cpuid hardware monitor so you can see. I'm still not clear what they are for. Can someone let me know what I have to do to bring this temperature down? and or, what these are even for?

    See attachment:

They don't even mention what the normal temp should be on their site. Seems high at 127.

    Re: Temperatures

Hey... good to hear from ya again. I never did figure out the deal with D: so I just download what I want to C: or the one I created, Z: .... then move them over to D: I'm happy with that.

On this temperature thing.... I thought it would be a good idea to monitor the cpu, and learn whatever else I could about the rest of the temps. I thought that 127c was high because of some of the posts I've seen.

Do you know what TMPIN0, TMPIN1, TMPIN2 is representing? I'm trying to find a chart with a estimate of temps for what I'm running. So far, I've only found a little here, and a little there about it. Maybe we can get to the bottom of this 127c problem also.

    Thanks for answering Ilikefree,

    Simono

    Re: Temperatures

Thank you for the download "Piriform Speccy" It has alot of information.

Well, I'm going to keep searching around to see if I can find some specs for what I'm running.... and an explanation on some of the other temps I'm being shown.

Also, I want to find out just how overheated TMPIN1 (127c) is....

If you find something, could you let me know.... Thank you very much my friend.

    Re: Temperatures

I've seen hwmonitor report that before for other systems. The T values are sensors "around" the chip and socket.

I would think that you have a bad reading, the rest of your temps look fine so honestly don't be too alarmed.

Yes I have heard of some random high readings. Did speccy have a high reading on any of the temps it showed?

No... speccy showed the same readings that were ok, and I didn't see the TMPIN0,1,or 2 sensers. Also, you guys are probably right.... it's probably just a bad reading.
