| Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 | Pasty : paste selected text into search app Pasty by MilesAhead Pasty out of the box pastes selected text into Windows Search. But you can set the hotkey to open another search engine. The hotkey for Pasty itself is also adjustable. Recommended usage: start with Windows and let it sit in the Task Tray. Highlight text in an editor or web browser, then hit the Pasty hotkey. The search engine will open and the text will be entered via macro action. You can download from this page: Hotkeys Just scroll down a bit until you see the Pasty link. I've tried it on Vista64 and Windows7 32 bit. Edit: For those who prefer to download from well known sites, the latest version of Pasty(v. 1.2) is now on Softpedia: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-...rd/Pasty.shtml Last edited by MilesAhead; 06-18-2009 at 04:38 PM.. | Vista home premium 32bit | Re: Free Software List for Vista Any good free programs to be able to create/customize your own menus for dvds/cds, o any programs with existing menus to add them to dvd burning pograms like dvdFlick? I`m really looking for anything that would make my dvds look professional. As well, I`m really getting into editing movies, slideshows, etc...so I was looking for a different movie maker (I already have the one that comes with Vista Home Premium, but it`s a bit limited). THANK YOU!!! Last edited by cosmicpeace; 06-22-2009 at 03:10 PM.. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 | Re: Free Software List for Vista I only use the most mundane menus(I'm usually trying to take the motion out rather than put it in) but here are a couple of good sites: Digital Video Forums - Everybody's Talkin' (on above site I recommend reading the rules before posting since they are very touchy about things like copyright infringement and ripping) VideoHelp.com - Forum, Guides, Tools and hardware lists lists of tools by category.. some free some pro.. forums are a bit looser than the first site. |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: Free Software List for Vista I don't think it is free. You might try Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs, Solve uninstall problems It works on 64 as well as 32 bit o/s .- tho. it only uninstalls 32 bit programs. |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: Free Software List for Vista thanks for the info SIW2 , I also found one that is free . My concern is , is it ok to install programs like this? Do you have it in your pc Is it ok to have another uninstaller in vista, b/coz just like when installing anti virus , you're only allowed to install one, 2 is not good I guess they will fight inside your pc . thats what im worried if ever I choose to install another uninstaller that it might cause problems. hope im not confusing you with my explantion |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Hi dylana, I use Revo - on my 64 bit systems and never had a problem with it. It doesn't interfere with Windows Uninstall feature - all that does is run the uninstaller that came with the program in question. Sometimes the programs own uninstaller is missing or damaged - even when they do work , they sometimes leave a lot of junk behind. That is why I use Revo - instead of Windows uninstall feature. What free uninstall program did you find? |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 | SourceSnap I have a new freebie on Softpedia. This one is called SourceSnap. It's designed for programmers to snap up source code via clipboard but can also be used to grab any plain text. It's not a complicated snippet manager application, but a simple easy to use hotkey app to snap up source code or text from web sites, or any app that can copy to clipboard. Here's the Softpedia link. It was just put up this morning: SourceSnap on Softpedia |
