Peer Guardian (Running but not working)

I managed to install and run the Peerguardian 2 software on my vista home premium 64 bit, but i does not appear to be doing any work, it doesn't show anything being allowed nor blocked, it only shows "Blocking 1016306150 IPs". Is there anywhere I can find a working version of the software?

It doesn't say it works for Vista 64 bit. You could try running it in xp compatibility mode.

Platform Support

PeerGuardian 2 supports Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, and 2003, in 32-bit and 64-bit.

I went into the compatibility tab of the icon's properties but the option to Run in compatibility mode is greyed out, I can't select it.

The tutorial has a note at the 3rd step, pointing to another tutorial to manually add it. Have you tried running it as administrator?

Sorry to say this, but I am kind of new to this Vista forum so could you be specific of the tutorial you are refering to. Yes I have tried running it as an administrator, no difference.

I have set it to run in compatibility mode but there is still no change, it is still only showing that it is blocking IPs, it is not showing any activity as I surf the web, do you know where I can find a different download of this software for vista? If you are using it, perhaps the one you are using will be a good link to send me.

I do not use this program. The site says it works for Vista but not 64 bit. It might just not work properly in 64 bit.
