Registry repair?

I can't view anything on YouTube or greeting cards on 123 Greetings. When I try to view on YouTube I get a message that Java is turned off or I don't have the latest version of Adobe Flash (I do!) I checked my Java and it is running perfectly.
I went to Adobe site and the FAQ say that it must then be something wrong with my registry. OK... so how do I fix that?

Re: Registry repair?

Restore Windows ( if a point before the corruption occured still exists), or Repair/Re-install Windows

System Files - SFC Command
System Recovery Options

Re: Registry repair?

I just downloaded a registry cleaner called Advanced System Care which claimed to repair my registry. I still get this message when trying to view YouTube files:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Re: Registry repair?

You can only do it with the 32-bit browser.
This is the default brower in Vista.
start> IE at top

32-bit Vista does not have a x64 IE7 browser.

You probably have a corrupted Version of Windows (due to reg cleaners/malware)

self diagnostic
try this:http://www.eset.com/download/sysinspector.php

try this:ESET SysInspector

Is this easy to use? I'm not a pro (can you tell?) If it just brings up stuff for me to sort through... I would not know good from bad.

try a system restore first (to a point before issue occured)
Start>in search bar type, restore>click program

Itll give you a system self diagnostic (i.e., "fine" in green), If red, then that needs further investigation. Simpy attach to post.

or download and scan with full program:http://www.eset.com/download/free_tr...wnload_eav.php

ps-click image to enlarge it.
