Hallo np, i am pretty sure Kaspersky disk is updated every few weeks but even if the defenitions are not up to date they should still detect virus/malware i assume your bios is set to boot from disk first?

I am assuming you are sourcing out these disks as you cant boot into windows? If you could be a bit more specific we might be better able to assist you.

If you can not boot into windows can you get into safe mode, bios settings or recovery options.

What security software is installed on your computer?

If i can better explain any of these questions please feel free to ask :D

OK i get where you are coming from, you used to be able to get it from Kaspersky Labs rather than Softpedia but it is very hard to find.

I will have a look around today & see what i can come up with :D

Sorry np, I have not had much success. This appears to be the most up to date iso file;

Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk 8.8.1.36 - A safe way to remove viruses from a computer without the risk of getting infected - Softpedia

It appears the way to update it is through your Kaspersky software which means of course you have to have Kaspersky installed.

hence why i was able to access it @ Kaspersky labs was because at that stage i was running K.I.S. and i remember now the link was in the Kaspersy control panel.

I am sorry wish i could of been more help :(

will it remove malaware?

I have never used it but that is what it is for, even Kaspersky antivrus package on its own has added maware/adawre/spyware protection on top of Virus protection

If you wanted to give it a go and you have a spare computer download the KIS trial version and install it.
This will give you access to Kaspresky labs & also you can create a bootable rescue disk from the trial version.

If you go for the full security suite just check that it disabled Windows Firewall & uninstall your other AV;

It will make you uninstall Spybot but Malwarebytes runs alongside it ok :)

You could the Trinity Rescue Kit. It contains a range of tools (including 5 anti viruses) that you can use when you boot from it. I have used it before and have had no problems with it:

Trinity Rescue Kit | CPR for your computer

Hope this helps
