Ahh two more questions guys.

To connect to the internet do you need a network card or does the motherboard sort that?

Also

I think the 4870X2 has a HDMI port. My monitor has a HDMI Port, to connect the two will the graphic's cards HDMI port be visible on th back of the case? Or do u need a special link to connect the graphic cards port to the back of the case? I'm pretty puzzled about this part?

Thanks a lot

No need to thank me, it is my pleasure to give something back to this community after all the help I received on a daily basis. Besides... I love spending other people's money!!! :D

Check the specs of the board on the asus site but, the board should come with 2 onboard Nics 10/100/1000... no need to buy 1

HDMI port should be visible from the back of the pc, instead of using the VGA or DVI cables, you just got to choose the hdmi I think... I have never used hdmi before. :o

Ok I'll have a go with the vista anyway because I dont really want to spend another £200 on it when 7 is coming out soon.

Thank you all so much

I know pizzaman already say Yes to this but I just want to reinforce that it is the item on the top left ;)

And the OS, is it possible to deactivate my vista ultimate on my laptop (I upgraded it from XP) 32-bit and then upgrade it to vista ultimate 64-bit using the same now unused key?

Thanks
Super_JS

I may not understand this correctly but I believe that... YES!, you can.

I bought Vista Ultimate and both x32 and x64 version DVDs came with it. I had the option to choose to install one or the other. If for whatever reason, after installing the x64, I was not satisfied with it, I could always go back, and install the x32 bit OS.

Now, being that yours was an UPGRADE, I can not be sure but, if both CDs or DVDs came with your purchase, I strongly believe that you can.
