They mean memory remapping. Before doing that, have you updated all your drivers, from network drivers to video? Also try a full system scan with Malwarebytes. Then you can try digging into the BIOS. You can also flash the BIOS if your motherboard is listed in msinfo32 or dxdiag, search for those from the start menu.

Look for an update to that BIOS. As for uninstalling SP2, locate view installed updates and select the right option.
