Antivirus Program Flawed?

I have decided to close this issue and go back to fixing my boot-up memory error instead.

I have investigated the add-ons and Active-X controls of IE, following the trail to Java, but cannot say I have found anything that has convinced me there is a real problem.

Searched the registry for certain strings. No obvious hit there either.

SFC /Verifyfile finds the tcpip.sys file OK. The error may in fact be a bug in Vista: Windows Event ID 5038 from Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing

I have run my local McAfee Internet Security, Internet AV scanners (Kaspersky, Symantec), Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D, F-Secure Blacklight, McAfee Avert Stinger and a command prompt scanner received from McAfee. McAfee have been very helpful so far, and deserve some credit. Nothing.

This does not necessarily mean I am not infected, but if I am, I no longer think I will be able to detect it now. Please see this thread. Scanning from the outside, is probably difficult with a Raid 0 setup. I may scan my backup from another computer at some point, but honestly, I am probably OK.:D

Thanks to you who helped me!:)

If anyone cracks the mystery with the Java folder mentioned above, please enlighten me!
