Thank-you johngalt for the reassurance - this is for those who cannot see the lighter side, and while you were putting up your post, I was typing as furiously as a frantic Sepoy, and never saw yours until my comment was up.

In conclusion, I will continue to use the Sepoys as my alter ego in future posts, after all, they are the only Troops that I have left to Command!! Please accept their inclusion as a light-hearted contribution to the post. That, after all, is the sole intent.

In my post of Spike's cartoon you will note the "Sepoys" were all rather decrepit and ruffianly British Soldiers, The noted exception was their leader, Major Bloodnock aka Sassofalco.

Are you aware that Major Bloodknock took a bath at least once a year, whether he needed to or not?

At times the Sepoys would draw a bath in the hot desert sand, and Bloodknock would revel in a dust bath....It's the heat, you know!! In the desert it melts the water!!:sa:
