'Bad image' message when I log on.

Sometimes when I log on, I get a message box telling me that one of my programs is a 'bad image' and that the application extension 'GOEC62~1.DLL' was either not designed to work on Windows or it contains an error. When I click OK, another one appears, and it ends up giving me these message boxes for most of the programs on my computer. Also, when I open a program, it gives me a message about that program.

I searched my computer, and found a folder in the 'Google' folder in Program files called Google~3, which is created at the exact time I log on and contains the application extension. I've attached a screenshot, and highlighted the folder. I found that I can temporarily get rid of this problem by deleting the folder, but I want to know if there's any way to permanently fix this.

Welcome
This could be a variant of the Google Virus or another virus using that name
Make an updated and full anti virus scan
Download and run a full scan with malwarebytes.

I've just run a full anti virus scan, a malwarebytes scan, and even scanned the folder individually. No threats, malware, or viruses. I've deleted the folder temporarily, but I really need ideas for when it appears again.

It may be tied into Google. Do you have any Google Software?
Google Maps, Google Earth?

Uninstall your Google desktop, that may be the cause.

Just to add to Rich's excellent advice, I would recommend that you uninstall the software that he mentioned with Revo Uninstaller. It will clean up all of the leftovers that the uninstaller may miss :)

I checked for any Google software, and I only have Chrome, which I don't suppose would cause this problem. I did have another application extension, Google BAE, which I deleted, not that it made any difference. I searched my computer for any Google folders and found Google EULA and google3. Deleted these, and I still get the error messages. The only temporary solution is to delete the Google~3 folder, but it just keeps coming back.
