Basically Everything is Corrupted

It's 2-3 years old, and before this, I didn't use it for at least 2 years. I have two external hard drives.

Are any of them compatible as a main drive for your PC?

Can you use one without loosing data?

One of them turns off automatically if it isn't used for like 3 minutes. I'm using the other one for my laptop.

Is there a way to fix this? Maybe use chkdsk or something?

Do you have any add-in cards fitted (Graphics card, SATA, IDE, USB etc.etc.) or are you using the on-board graphics?

If you have any add-in cards remove them i.e. "Take the system back to bare bones": -

Do you have standard parts fitted to this machne?

Then, try again with an install.

There's nothing different - everything is what the factory originally gave me. Still the blue screen.
