bsod 0x0000009f problem with shutdown restart sleep and hibernate

i set it how it showed but i didnt see anything about drivers in it. how do i know if i updated the drivers

started update a little while ago hope it works without being able to restart

no its shutting down,restart,sleep,and hibernate from windows goes to the bsod.

i hit the check for solution button but nothing

Do you have a Vista install DVD?

nothing came with the computer and i shouldn't have said nothing the box disappeared but nothing else came up afterwords.

so no install disc the only thing that came in the box was the plug and the computer.

the updates are installing but 1 failed and 10 were canceled so one of those are probably the one i need.ill tell you how it turns out

bsod popped up. but its now configuring the updates

ok almost all the updates are done only 9 important and 3 optional what now.

Exactly what happens when you try to boot, now.

bsod still and now its just 1 update

Try again, if not tried already in safe mode

Forget the update for now, lets try to boot.

when it was finishing the update it restarted no problem the second time i got the bsod again
