Create Bootable Hdd

Thanks guys. If I have to do a repair install and then replace some drivers, I might as well go ahead and do a clean install. Doesn't seem like the repair will save much time. And time I don't have for this right now.
For sure there are no free lunches.

Question; when I ran Vista dvd for startup repair again today it said the error was, "the partition table does not have a valid system partition".

So when I do the clean install, will it fix this also? Or is this a problem with the hdd?

Also, I've installed this OS a couple times. Will Microsoft allow a third install, or will they demand I buy another activaton key? If that is the case I'd move to Windows 7.
