Solved deleted emails dissapearing

after reading an email, i hit the red "x" on the tool bar to delete my email. up to about 30 minutes ago they would go to the "delete folder". now i hit the red "x" and they just dissapear. i have windows mail and folders are set up as IMAP.

fixed it. dont know if this was the way, but i added another email acct. after all the emails showed up, verified i had the same ones, then deleted the bad email acct.
