Deleting history

Hello.

When trying to delete Internet Explorer history, it seems to stay - even after I have re-booted!
When I start typing in a web page eg... the bbc i player address in the main search bar it auto fills it in and shows the programmes i've visited. Been through all the delete procedures but it always happens. Not a problem but its a pain in the a**e and i'd like to know why its happening?

You can disable Auto complete by going to Tools->Internet Options->Content-> Autocomplete-> Settings. HTH.
