I have the D40. and I LOVE it.. amazing camera, get one accord.

I also use the D90's kit lens. the 18-105mm VR on my D40 and it works great.

I ended up getting a Sony Alpha 200k. I got it with a 18-70mm lens and a 55-200mm lens for $566.98 CDN. Awesome deal at $400 off.
