Solved .dll errors, software issues

Stoneys, HP did not made my computer ever. So there is no '..hp is not supporting it anymore..' because they never made it, had nothing to do with it what so ever.
Packard Bell, I totally different computer company, made it and they are not supporting it anymore.

That said, I can't find drivers so I'm going to reinstall windows vista, alas, considering it.
Do you think it will help if I reinstall windows vista, not a clean install with formating the harddrive etc. I have 70 gig files of work/games/school/family stuff, I can't remove that.

What are the effects of reinstalling windows vista?

The problem is, if you re-install Vista your are still going to have the problem of getting drivers.

then I'm going to call Packard Bell, they can give me advice I hope. The programs of PB are not working, these are the programs I could have used to find new drivers...
Bah, sometimes I'm happier with my console(PS3). Thx for the help anyway.

Ok, I got it. I called PB and the reason why I couldn't find drivers for older machines was because I had the site language on Dutch. The link on the PB site to drivers for older machines only appears when you go to the UK/Ireland version of PB...
Anyway, I found many drivers and installed almost everything containing 'chipset' 'nvidia' 'nforce' and my pc model name.
So far, no problems.

Only need to find my harddrive driver...

EDIT: SCSI/RAID Host Controller
Going to remove this device, reinstall chipsetdriver, hopefully it will help.

EDIT2: It did not help, and I can't find drivers on the PB site that are supporting this. My harddrive already has the latest updates. Only problem is that my computer sees my harddrive as a removable device(it's not) and the SCSI/RAID Host Controller needs to be updated.

Where can I find this driver? I've read many forums and all say that I need to update my motherboard/bios etc. I did. Didn't help to fix this problem.

This is the link to the drivers PB has for my computer:

ftp://ftp.download.packardbell.com/DESKTOP/iStart%20%282007-2009%29/Driver%20Vista/

This is what I see in device manager:

And this is what I see right below, in the taskbar:

My harddrive has the latest updates. Everything besides the host controller has the latest updates.

EDIT:.dll errors appeared again...
