explorer 9 beta

hi all yes its best to wait if not working on vista:rolleyes: has there been any reports of windows 7 crashing? if so i wont try it on my machine i will wait till the final release candidate ;)

lets hope its not a beta 2 just the finished product! i cant see it being better than chrome i have used chrome from the early days of chromium and seen how fast and better in progress it has grown from the developers of which most are open source better than a corporate organization.:)

Wow, I totally posted this in the wrong thread a while ago,lol.

I've had IE9 installed for a few days now, and while it is very fast, including initial startup, it is still really plain. I don't mind the placement of the address bar and tabs, although it takes some getting used to.
I haven't had a single problem so far, but i've only used it occasionally just for the heck of it.
I had the issue of the hang when trying to install. I had to go into the user folders and do it that way.....it would just hang about 1/5th of the way when it was checking for the updates or some crap.
Don't expect it to be perfect, but I already like it a lot better than 7 and 8, although, that's not saying much.

Today marks day 4 of me using IE9 and absolutely no problem on x64 Vista system SP2. I'm starting to believe a lot of folks having trouble probably shouldn't be trying beta releases of anything. Experienced users should have no problem with this beta release.

No, there are quite a few bugs, which could hit anyone, and are more to do with the system than user. What I do agree with, however, is that some inexperienced users should definitely not be trying Beta 1, especially when so much has been known to go wrong, and may need to be fixed.

i give up on the vista install i got home today and i installed 9 beta on my windows 7 machine without a hitch it aint that much nothing special in my opinion i will stick with chrome :)
