There comes a pt.. that if no malware / virus detected, and SFC does not fix issues. and the Stand alone SP will not install. that you just have to do a repair install for missing files or a clean install..

After Window Vista sp1 auto update, my volume icon has an X and it says "No audio device installed". It was working fine until updates. Has anyone else had this problem and have you found a solution? tried them all!!!!!!!!!
