Formatted Computer cannot connect to internet?

Did you get the driver files on the Flashdrive or did you get the sites downloader file ? You need to get the driver files on the Flash drive, then open up the Flash drive and move onto the computer or if the Device Manager will do it from the Flash Drive . For example : In Device Manager, when you right click the network card and have it install from your computer , it should get it from where you put it ; documents, desktop, or pull it from the Flash Drive .

It was the File Viewer (1.5mg). I'll try with the 3meg download.

Go back to Device Manager, and right click the networking driver and click the update driver, it should then give you the option of installing from a location on the computer, steer it towards the driver files you put on desktop, it should show you choices , you want the one for your networking card Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) . see if you see this , if so, that is the one you want.

It worked great, thanks!

Any advice on what type of anti-virus/spyware to use to keep that computer from being clogged up by the kids?
