Freelancer Multiplayer issue

hey all,

down to business straight away, the main symptom is connection, the game displays in the top right that it is connecting to the global server, then stays there. the game doesn't crash, and the system still works fine, it simply cant connect.

ive tried everything, compatibility mode, running as an admin, opening the ports and even turning on wndows firewall, but still no cookie.

has anyone ever had this problem before or helped someone else wit the same problem?

//-system specs-\\
vista home- 32 bit
wireless network (not sure if that helps)
freelancer v2.6.7 (TNG)

no problens with any other games over the internet.

You are going to have to download the fllistserverpatch to be able to find the servers. since microsoft has stopped rallying the servers, u have to use another method, fllistserver.com go to this link hopefully it will take you directly to the section where u can download the patch, i will warn you, u have to turn the read only option on one of the files and turn off your user access control system to be able to update or use any mods, i recommend the discovery mod.
