Sorry, i got mixed up with your replies, We are are at another step since you have done the SFC step and found no errors. This is the next step in solving your issue. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html

I hope this gets us to a point where this will repair your registry, as there are not too many steps left . Please post back, and again, i apologize for getting your replies mixed up.
