GTA 4 Minimum Requirements

I have a Vista DUAL-CORE processor, these are my other specs:

Memory: 2gb
Hard drive: 130gb
1.86ghz
DVD rom drive
Graphics accelerator x3100
OS: Windows Vista home-premium

Will I be able to easily run gta 4, or is my year long dream shattered?

according to this your're qualified for the minimum ones. GTA4 is very dependant on the CPU. Probably you will have to decrease the details to lowest settings to run it smoothly.

The x3100 is an onboard video card. I don't think it'll run with that, even if everything else is fine.

Like what Skunk said, it's a very hard game to run well. Chugging a long at 25-30fps in open areas isn't fun, and it certainly isn't fun when it drops down to 18-20fps.

The only computers I've seen that play it like it should be played are PC's holding an i7, and getting a constant 50-60fps :huh:

i wanted to know if gta 4 will work with my computer here are my spec's
processor: intel(R) celeron(R) M CPU 520 @ 1.60GHz
meory(RAM): 1014 MB
System typw 32-bit operating System
and i don't know about my graphic's card i can run spore but on low settings, and run s.t.a.l.k.e.r on low but it sometimes lags and has prblem with the grapichs on there. but can anyone tell me if it works on my pc? email me at [email protected]

Can You Run It click this link and find grand theft auto 4 on the dropdown menu, this will then install a small detection program on your browser and tell you if you can run the game or not, hope this helps
