HELP! vista 32 ataport.SYS error

there are no memory dumps created as windows shows me the bsod every time i start up..i c the desktop for 2 seconds and puff the bosd appears..is there anything else i could do to help u help me ..

Just to be sure that I understand. Every time you boot, you get a BSOD right after you log on?
This happens in safe mode, too?

yup u r right..but it does not happen in safe mode

Go to search type cmd.
In cmd type driverquery. Do you still see ataport?

i dont know how to go back to the point before to having problems with system restore but i guess the problem is with soluto .. i cant uninstall it completely ..am using revo uninstaller pro to uninstall and when i click on soluto it "says the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

Many have reported that error. That is why I dont suggest using Soluto.
Can you uninstall in safe mode?

all the stuff said in previous post was done in safe mode .. and it does not help to un install soluto

Might want to try their uninsaller. As I said many have had problems with Soluto and trying to uninstall.

i tried using soluto uninstaller but when i try to login again the bsod appears... damn how i wish i didnt install soluto it .. i tried cleaning registry in cc cleaner and i got some remnants of soluto ..i cleaned it and restarted it only to find out thAT the programme is not completely uninstalled .am attaching the cc cleaner txt file for ur reference

If you put it in just a couple of months ago, we can get it out with System Restore, want to try that?

You will not lose any of your stuff, but you will lost changes to Vista and any programs between the date that you select and today

no my friend that still does not help . it works fine until the windows logo comes on screen and when the sound comes .... it crashes again

i had only 1 restore point ie before uninstalling the Microsoft security essential..and now that restored it i cant uninstall it in safe mode...

When you saw the restore point. Did you look a the bottom left. Tick to see more points?
