I'm 54 as I believe it says in my profile (and can be seen by everyone for those who added that or some part of that). Sometimes I think that's old and sometimes I think that's still young (well, maybe not quite young but not yet old either). I'm impressed by the number of very young people here (and saddened to see quite a few of them have since been banned - no doubt because they said/did something consistent with that age as many of us who are older probably remember only too well).

A bit off-topic but mentioned earlier, I'd like to participate in SF as well as here as it seems to have more activity, but my laptop (see specs) cannot be upgraded without a whole lot of hardware changes - too many (and removing a bit of software I use as well) and I'm not in a position to buy a new computer at this point pretty much just to get W7 (as this one is working just fine even if about 3 years old). I don't think it would be right to post there without experience with W7 and without using a W7 machine (to confirm procedures and suggestions and test problems and solutions). While it could be done with research and reading/training to a large degree, that's not the same as experience and our posters deserve the best replies possible from people who really know what they're talking about and IMHO actually use the OS. So I'll stay here in the Vista Forums until the time comes for a new computer - and that might not even be until Windows8 (LOL!) so I may be skipping a generation (we'll have to see how things go and how this computer holds out).
