Hi
I'm currently running XP x64 on a hardware controlled RAID0 array consisting of 2 PATA disks.
Tried to install Vista on a SATA drive, using "add driver" during install to load the nVidia RAID drivers, but that didn't work, still no visible array. Vista however continued to install fine and boots up from the SATA drive, but I get no boot menu (have to use "F8") and inside Vista I can't see my RAID array, just the first disk listed as unallocated. I have the latest chipset drivers installed (nforce4) but it doesn't help.
Then I tried to do a clean install on the SATA drive from inside XP, it also worked fine, the Vista setup program identified the RAID array, but then when the setup program reboots I see the green loading indicator for a few seconds and then I get a BSOD telling me there might be something wrong with my drives (which I know for a fact there isn't).
If anyone got a suggestion as to what might be the error here I would be very grateful!
System specs: AMD64 X2 4200+ s939, ASUS A8N-E, 2Gb RAM.
