How to Repair Vista Business Edition?

I purchased my laptop 2007 and it is running Vista Business Edition.
I faced problems when I tried to install .net framework 3.5. I have to repair my .net framework 2.0 and 3.0 which is part of the OS. I tried with the Windows Vista CD which I received when I purchased laptop. But, it comes back to me with a message that your key is expired. How can I get a copy of Vista to repair my Vista in my laptop?
Thanks

Do you have a recovery partition? to check go to -control panel-administrative tools-computer management-storage-disk management and see if you have anything under 15GB and saying Healthy Recovery partition. NOTE that it might not have a drive letter.eg C:\ D:\ E:\

This probably wont work, but If you haven't already, try activating by telephone. This will sometimes fix activation issues that occur by activating over the internet, such as the "The product key is already in use" issue after re-installing Vista. Worth a shot. Or you can try what Nostaw5 said and look for the recovery partition if there is one.
Good Luck.
