Hello, I , have read all posts, and offer my Free unpaid help to try to assist . Have you tried a different cable, tho you have a " new " one, that does not make it trouble free .

I think that is definitely worth checking, I only have the one cable but I will take back and get it exchanged. I will keep you posted, thanks for your free helpful help

One question, should there be some menu on the laptop for HDMI settings? I can't seem to find anything relating to HDMI port anywhere on the laptop :/
