The problem is this:I have to share the computer with someone else.What do you recommend that I do?I also have Windows 7 Enterprise in my computer.
As I said,changing to UEFI Mode lets only Windows 8 to boot.The other systems(Vista,7) will give 0xc0000428 error about winload.efi.Please get me out of this situation! I also hate 8 because of its tablet-like interface.I would prefer to have an eight-year-old HP Pavilion dv9000t rather than this! UEFI has great advantages,but is also very complex.I want to keep the Vista partition hidden,as I have 7 right now.This BSOD gets on my nerves!

If it is needed,I will give information about installations:Windows 7 installs perfectly,so does Windows Server 2008 R2.Vista SP1 or Server 2008 give the same error(0x0000001e).I should also say that Windows 7 is more responsive than 8.The bad thing is that I can't find the BSOD files in that $WINDOWS.~BT folder.I want to install Vista because I like it.Much more than 8,even if its support ends in 2017,two years later.As you see,the BSOD just says:STOP :0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFC0000005,0xFFFFF800014B1CC7,0x0000000000000000,0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF).Only this.It doesn't even say:A problem has occured and Windows shut down to prevent damage to your computer.What do these numbers mean?:huh:

The most important number is the stop number. Here is the meaning

My UEFI firmware is made by InSyde.I have the latest version.Is it the problem?Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2 install without problems,just a notice about GPT not being in the recommended order.During the first reboot,does Setup load drivers other than its own?I saw this article you gave me 1-2 months ago.Compatibility mode in Windows 7 shows that the USB 3.0 driver is not compatible with Vista.
The photos are from Device Manager.Some devices are translated into English,since the computer has the Greek language installed.

I think I finally found it!
Intel HD Graphics 4000,doesn't support Vista,as seen on the Intel site.The weird thing,however,is that the driver in compatibility mode works.So,I think it's the reason the 0x0000001E BSOD occurs.The problem is that if I want to have Aero,I have to install the Intel Graphics driver,otherwise the other card,NVIDIA GeForce 610M,won't work,unless the former is installed.Tried it with Windows 7.Now,Vista 32 or 64 for VMware?Before answering,check the system details

The answer for everyone is here:If you have the Intel HD Graphics 4000 or 2500 video card,don't even bother to install Vista to dual-boot or have it as the only OS in your computer.You'll get a 0x0000001E BSOD with similar codes to mine.Instead,if your computer has enough memory and disk space,download VMware Player and install Vista in a VM.

Another question:Shall I use Startup Repair on Vista?
VMware:After installing Vista 32 bit and 64 bit,I can tell something.The sound is very distorted,but if I open Windows Media Player in the VM and leave it all the time,the following will occur:
1)Sound will be distorted,but you will notice it only if you put your ear close to the speakers.
2)Performance is boosted a lot.Having Aero enabled,I can see that.The windows move better,the Flip 3D works almost like Windows 7,which is the host.
I can't figure it out.Why do you have to leave an application open,so as to get the best performance from a VM?
