Locked administrator on vista and limited access on user

@townsbg, yep just finish it now :-) , the first time it felt like another language I was so tired. def cool and I have Vista installed. saving the link, not sure but could I have done that in a user account with barley any privileges?

@wither 3 . Just as well I updated my drivers on Dell, after I installed Vista Service pack 2 my computer started running slow. The driver updates fixed that as well as installing dell software for fixing stuff :-)

No you wouldn't be able to (see below). Really if you have decided to lock you system down and provide other users with restricted privileges would you want them to be able to do this to bypass your restriction? Even worse would you want them to be able to damage your system?

You still need a CMD prompt, but there’s an extra step… You will need to find the shortcut to the CMD prompt (Start, type CMD in the search box and wait for it to locate it…should be pretty fast). Once it locates it, right click it and choose to “Run as administrator”. (Do this even if your user account is an admin.)...

Geez Townsbg, are you trying to spoil the party. :D Got me confused also. Maybe it's one of those cases where, "if it's not broke, don't fix it".
