Logs me in automatically to other account

It doesn't prompt me for the password though, that's what's so frustrating about this.

Allright, now that I got the installation almost done, it prompts me with this "Your hardware isnt good enough for this OS" (my own words) despite me already running that OS fine.

But now that im not logged in, I have full rights to the computer.

Note   Note

Shift - F10 to bring up command prompt.

type MMC
Click File -> Add/Remove Snap-in... (Or CTRL+M)
Select Computer Management (Double click and Finish on Local Computer)
Click OK
Double click Computer Management (Local) -> System Tools -> Local Users and Groups -> Users -> Double Click Administrator -> Uncheck Account is disabled -> OK
Now right click Administrator -> Set Password... -> Set a decent password to get started.

I now managed to enable the admin account.

Restarted, and it says "Windows could not complete the installation. to install windows on tis computer, restart the installation."

I won't restart, because the last time I got this error it just gave me an installation loop of errors which lead to the 3 OS multiboot options.

now I have to shift - F10 for command prompt.
Note   Note

SHIFT-F10 to bring up command prompt.
type: CD C:\windows\system32\oobe
type msoobe
enter
Make a generic account and password. hit finish (if it requests a product key and you have one, enter it now. if OEM/No key required, just finish). Set time/date. Finish.
Restart.

I can expect a 4th OS in my multiboot startup now, but atleast I can now create another Administrator account with full rights other than this hidden admin.
Should be good to go.

Okay, now I rebooted and I got the user option back.

I can choose between "Admin" which is the one I just made, and "Administrator" which is the hidden admin I had been using.

I logged in with "Administrator", its taking a long time at the "Preparing your desktop.." screen.

I don't want to be impatient and hard boot it, so I'll leave it and let it load.

Allright, I waited and now it logged me in.

Now I'm just installing drivers and everything and doing updates.

Well, that's a good sign. You're certainly much further along than before. After getting your system back to a running state, definitely back up your important files as Rich suggested.

Run MSCONFIG and go to the boot tab. If you see multiple OS installations listed, you can delete them. However, I don't know if they are simply duplicates (because they all point to the same OS, you've only got one installed), or if there are any differences between them. You may want to leave the last one in the list, as this is probably the last entry created. FYI, the dialog will force you to leave one at a minimum, so there's no risk of accidentally deleting them all.

Great, I used MSCONFIG and deleted the extra OS options. It even told me which one was default/the one I was using so there was no confusion.

Now I'm going to recover my old files from the windows.old section and use disk cleanup to delete windows.old and clear up space, then I'll use the macrium tool that Rich suggested and keep a backup on my laptop as well as the computer itself.

I will install my drivers from the driver backup I created and I should be back on track.

But now I have "Admin" and "Administrator" accounts active, should I disable the "administrator" account again?

- Admin being the account I created myself.

Geeze you had a lot of problems. To answer you question if you disable the administrator account and you corrupt admin then it will be hard to get access to the administrator account. Personally, I have the administrator enabled however by default I use a power user account. With home premium you won't have the option of creating a power user but my preference is not to run as an admin all of the time. If I need admin privileges UAC will prompt me for my administrator password so really I don't hardly ever have to log into the admin account. I believe that it is Microsoft's recommendation to hardly ever run as an administrator and with UAC enabled you really don't have to. If nothing else I would have a separate admin account mostly untouched and enabled in case of profile corruption.

Yeah, I disabled the hidden admin account and it left me with a single user, which I had named "Admin" and made an administrator.

I'm surprised at how this happened over a Brother laser printer driver update, especially when the printer is made in 2012.
