Need help deleting Java 6 Update 29

Ok well I can't find them so I will be moving all files/programs I need/want to an external hard drive. then if you could walk me through wiping it, probably tomorrow or the next day. Latest on the weekend. Thanks for all the help so far rich and all others that attempted to help me. Don't worry I will be repping everyone that helped, once I got it fixed.

If you have a vista install CD, you will make a clean install and then format.
Without the CD, you will have to use the restoration partition.

Yeah Idk where the cds are anymore we moved 2 years ago and idk where they went. So I will have to do it that way do you have a msn I can contact you when I'm ready to do the restore. I have to backup all the files and have some irl stuff going on.

There are only two ways to restore Vista
One is with the CDs
The second is with the restoration partition. Give me the make and model of your computer and I will tell you how. Your stuff will be gone. The computer goes back to the way it was the day that you took it home.

Yeah I'm doing the second way thats why I'm moving all stuff I want to keep to my external hard drive

I need the make and model of the computer, not the OS.
For example Dell xps420 (thats what I have)

How to use the pre-boot service partition to recover your software
Dont try anything before you back up.
