Ok, here is my situation
i recently bought a HP Pavilion a6500f & i also have a Linksys WRT54GS router!
What i want to do is set up the router so i can connect my PS3 Wireless (i play wired in my room, but want to play wireless in the living room)
my problem began with my old xp machine. i got the router back in Oct. 07 & the router worked fined for about 2-3 months then one day when i turn on my old xp pc, i had no internet connection, i called my dsl provider Yahoo DSL! and they told me to see if i can get a connection by just connecting the modem to the computer without the router & see if i get a connection, which i did. she said she couldn't help me because it was a wireless router & not a modem or internet problem. after my xp crashed i got the HP & when i tried setting up the router i would get no connection? any ideas, you guys are my last hope.
p.s. how do i completely reset all the settings on both my modem & router, would that do it, do i need to update drivers? i have tried going to http://192.168.1.1/ & nothing happens!
