This is the same "more info" message I get everytime this happens. I have been at this non stop trying to locate a solution and all I can find is more and more people with the same problem. I was basically discredited in another post here and the person stated "that my problem was just my opinion and most people have had no issues with SP2"...that really irritated me since I could direct anyone to thousands of posts about this issue. Before anyone asks...yes my modem is showing solid connection to the internet....I game online for 4-5 hours a night and not one disconnect but when I browse the browser stops every 3-5 minutes.

Another note: this message appears while I am fully connected to the internet and only effects WEB BROWSING across all browsers. All other programs that use internet access run fine and never lose connection even through these interuptions I am experiencing with the browser(s). I have done everything from taking my router out of the loop, disabling Kasperky AV and testing, doing every rest command via the command prompt, clearing browser info, uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7....same problem remains. I am almost tempted to uninstall SP2 and see of the problem goes away just for informational purposes. Eventually someone will find the solution!!

The fix that I described - uninstalling Avast AND Zone Alarm and going with Comodo has completely stopped the problem from re-occurring on my computers. But clearly, there may be similar symptoms for different causes. Good luck.

The pic links are just non text images that were on the page, the text is th eonly real important info. I think the links that didn't post in it were "diagnose connection" tab and other ones were "more info" link which pulled up all the text I posted there.

Been a while since I visited this thread since no solutions seemed to present themselves but wanted to update my experience with this issue.....

I recently went ahead and bought ANOTHER router to replace my D-Link EBR-2310 since after many tests while plugged directly to the modem resluted in no disconnects. This time I shelled out just under $100 for a D-Link DIR-655 which acommodates wired and wireless needs and I needed wired and it has 4 ports so that was great. It has been running for 2 days and my browsing speed is extremely faster and guess what....not one disconnect as of yet!!! With the old router I was being disconnected about every 10-15 mins of web browsing with either IE8 and Firefox. Any other internet connections such as torrents or browser downloads remained connected and were unaffected by the anomoly that has plagued me since SP2 for Vista was released. I currently am using Win7 and it was having the same issues as Vista was concerning this issue.

Now that my problem has finally been solved I hope this will help anyone having similar issues that might be router related.
