PLS HELP!!! Error KBDKYR9.dll......

ok here it is....I hope I did it all right again

Yesterday when after I did the VirScan...and my computer rebooted I didnt see the dll. error box come up

Let me know what to do next

Where did you get BitDefender?

Your Java is outdated and vulnerable to attack ...
Updating Java:

• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.
• Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u26 allows end-users to run Java applications".
• Click the "Download" button to the right.
• Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
• The page will refresh.
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
• Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
• Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
• Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
• Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
• Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u26-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

After doing the above, download TFC by Old Timer TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forums and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.

I got it on base in our PX we are Military. Why? Is it bad?
So after the TFC is that it? Is the original error I had gone now?

After running TFC, run another Eset scan to make sure there are no problems showing.

I will do the other Eset scan...but Microsoft asked me to do updates..and they fail...this is always a problem? is that ok? Also what virus protection do you recommend since I wasted my money on BitDefender

I couldnt run eset...it said step 2 of 4 is complete but could not get the update??? What should I do?
The error i get for the microsoft updates failed is 643 and the updates are:

No, don't shut them off.

Go into Programs and Features and uninstall conduit Toolbar. (if found)

Both of these Mozilla/FireFox search plugins need to go!

I deleted the Ask and the conduit ones....

The C:\Windows\system32\jkheaskbmmpzdb.dll-uninst.exe I cannot find this anywhere???

You said above "looks like Vundo to me"??? Whats Vundo??? Do I actually have virus's on here still? B/c the original error I came on here about is gone?

Do I need to uninstall windows vista and call Sony for a new driver and reinstall it???

Ok Jacee...yea it was gone...I think all is good now aside from the updates that will not install.

I asked you earlier but you didn't answer...can you recommend a virus protection?

Keep all your programs, Java, Adobe, etc. up to date! These are especially vulnerable to malware attacks using older versions.

Make a clean restore point now, so you have one to fall back on if needed.

I was just about to ask you how to create that..and you already were 1 step ahead of me.

Can the MSE that you mentioned above be used with Bit Defender?

Do you think I should use that now and just get rid of the Bit Defender? Or wait till my BiT Defender subsription is done? B/c I have like 8 months left on it..but if you think the MSE is better I will uninstall the Bit Def. now.

Also,...bitdefender cust. svc had told me a while ago to leave the Microsoft Defender OFF? Should I leave that off?

No, BitDefender and MSE will not play nice together. Use only one anti-virus program at a time. Disable Windows Defender in Services. Type services.msc in the 'start search' box, then click on the gear icon.

Since you paid for BitDefender, you might as well use it. There isn't an anti-virus program out there, that will be 'perfect' and detect every single piece of malware. New malware is being found every day, and it does take a while for the Anti-virus venders to upload the definitions and pass the updates on to you.
